Wimbledon On The Water

Can you build a grass tennis court in three days? That was the question I was asked by a marketing executive representing American Express in early April. I'm not sure whether a temporary tennis court had ever been built before in such a short time span, although the lay and play principles for winter sport have become a tried and tested method of mid season construction.

Weston Park

Can you do some marking out for us please? A simple question from a large publicity company, to which the answer was, yes we can! The company in question was actually representing the car giant, Toyota, and they were looking for some designed branding to furnish the grassed area on and around their stand at the T4 Festival in Weston-super-Mare

Big Brother

The latest enquiry was for Big Brother. Prior to the filming of their recent series, I was invited down to Elstree Studios to meet the Production Manager and Set Designers. Once the usual confidentiality agreements were signed, I was taken around the set and asked to work the best solution for the garden area to the set designer’s vision, which included a lawn and two grass armchairs.

Celtic Manor

Nigel Wyatt first began working with Celtic Manor back in 1995 when he was asked to price a design/build drainage system for the Roman Road Course. The company was successful with the bid and a new primary drainage system was installed within the 18 fairways of the course.

Rockliffe Hall

The golf course is situated to the south of the Hall and covers an area of approximately 116.2ha. The southern and eastern boundaries are defined by the River Tees. Middlesborough Football Club’s training ground and sports complex lies immediately to the west.
